Bobbsey Twins

I'm enjoying this time of year, summer is ending and fall is inching closer. My sedum are all turning pink and mums are being sold everywhere.

I purchased this book this year and whoever owned it had attached a pink ribbon--I left it there. Did you read the Bobbsey Twins when you were young?  I read through several of the pages and life sure has changed. I think I'm partial to the simple pleasures of yesteryear.

The title is "Merry Days Inside and Out" by Laura Lee Hope, copyright 1950.  I love the adventures of the two sets of twins, Bert and Nan and Freddie and Flossie.

Love the book. Your flowers are very pretty. Wish I had some like them.

Just sent you an email. The Keurig sample is all yours and happy to share it. The Bobbsey Twins were one of my favorite series, right behind Cherry Ames, Student Nurse. I think it was a lot easier to grow up in that era than now.

I read and loved the Bobbsey Twins. A number of the books were written by Lillian Garis - whose husband wrote Uncle Wiggly. Can you imagine the conversation at that dinner table? Happy Pink Saturday!

I loved the Bobbsey Twins! My Autumn Joy didn't grow very tall this year and now they are full of weeds as it's been too hot for me to go out and pull weeds. They (weeds) really grew after we started getting some of our normal monsoon rains. Have a nice Sunday to rest and enjoy yourself.♥♫

Hi Ann! I love the simple pleasures in life too! What fun to have such a beautiful book. Nothing today can compare to the simplicity of days goneby. Thank you for sharing.
