Pink Saturday

Well Easter is right around the corner, are you ready for the celebration?  I am planning our menu and table and making sure the yard is mowed for the Easter Egg Hunt.  All this will take place after our Easter Service at church on Sunday morning.

Here's one of my favorite pink, green and white bunnies smelling the flowers in a PINK basket.

Found some vintage magazines at an antique store last week.

Will you be wearing a hat this Easter?  Love this pink Pillbox one.

.Maybe you'll be wearing this PINK A BOO lipstick. I'm sure it will cost a lot more than 49cents. WOW

Hope your having a fantastic Saturday.

ABC Wednesday - K is for Kansas City

I would be remiss if I did not feature my city KANSAS CITY   for the letter K today. If you have not visited our city you should some day.

Our KANSAS JAYWAKS are in the FINAL FOUR and the University is located in Lawrence, Kansas.

Kansas City sits on the border of Kansas and Missouri and we have so many wonderful places to visit and experience from Kansas and Missouri.

I visited the Amerian  Jazz Museum a few years ago and it is a place well worth the trip, this is on the Missouri side.

Several years ago the KANSAS SPEEDWAY was built on the Kansas side and a new cassino was just opened last month "Hollywood Casino", next to the Speedway.

We now have a professional soccer team "Kansas City Sporting Club" playing in our new state of the art stadium "Livestrong" also on the Kansas side.

And I cannot forget our fabulous KANSAS CITY BARBEQUE.  There are so many fabulous resturants--too many to name.  Kansas and Missouri share the love of barbeque.

Hope you enjoyed my tour, I've only touched on a few of the fabulous things our "KANSAS CITY" has to offer.

ABC WEDNESDAY AND OUTDOOR WEDNESDAY-SIMPLE AND SWEET FRIDAY

My J word for this week is  JUBILATION when I spotted this garden cart at a garage sale this past Thursday.  I can envision this filled with pots of herbs and plants. I can move anywhere in my yard with ease.
I was doing a JIG when I found out she only wanted $20.00 for it.

It needs a board replaced and a little touch up on the stencil but I think its a real JEWEL

Spring has arrived and I wanted to share some new Hyacinths that I planted last fall.

Vintage Thingie Thursday - Age of 45 rpm's

For Vintage Thingie Thursday this week I want to feature a square metal 45 rpm record box. My hubby purchased this around 1960.  Most all of the 45's are his, I think I might have added a couple.  He used to play in a band in the 60's so he had every record he could get his hands on.

Do you happen to remember any of these Vintage Record Labels? The box is overflowing. Theres just too many memories to part with any of his records, although we rarely get them out. (However, we do still have a turntable).

Do you ever visit any of those Vintage Record stores?
