Family United

On Sunday our church had one united service at a community theater here in our city.  Theater in the park does summer shows and is a beautiful outdoor location.  We have three services on the weekend and rarely do we  all get to worship together.

Just setting up the sound system.

A sweet friend of mine Trenea and me before we went on stage.

Another good friend of mine Nancy.

All of us on stage and some of our young ones singing along.

After the service lunch was served and a few bands played for awhile.  There were also inflatables set up for the children to play.  My husband ran the first aid station and because it was 100 degrees, we had a couple of older adults become overheated but ice and lots of water helped them out.

Looking forward to our next united service.

What a great way to gather and enjoy fellowship and fun. We barely have enough for one service in my church. Lots of seniors and no youth in my area.

This looks great. We have four services for the New Year, including one at Jazz at Lincoln Center. I've enjoyed the different sites, but I like when we're all back in one place again.

Hi Ann, This looks like a fabulous time. Why did you go on stage? Do you entertain? I would have loved to be there too. Thank you for sharing this wonderful event.

A beautiful way to fellowship! The heat in Kansas is tough for Nick but he ran well considering it last weekend. Good to see you here. ALways a pleasure to visit.
