Family Fridays

Let's share some great stories and pictures.  Join me @The Peterson Family for today's Family Fridays

In 1969 I was expecting our first child, we were living in Albuquerque and we decided to go and pick out a rocking chair for the nursery.

As we were traveling to the furniture store  this fantastic new song came on the radio.  "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkle.
We ofcourse bought the album. To this day when I hear this song it takes me back.  It is my favorite song of all time.

We found a perfect rocking chair--here's a picture of it after we had our second baby.

My daughter has used the rocking chair for her two girls, I can't seem to get rid of it, it still stays in the work room.

Hope you all have a great Friday and an wonderful weekend.

Ann

When I had just delivered our first baby and was still in the hospital, hubby heard the "new" song "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. He too bought the album, and it has been one of our favorites ever since and I can't hear it without thinking of our "baby" girl.
