Vintage Thingie Thursday

Suzanne is our hostess for Vintage Thingie Thursday @http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/
Hop on over and see all the "thingies" today.

Today I'm sharing two diaries that were from my childhood.  I was around 10 and 11 when I had these.

I guess I've always liked to write about my interests----even as a little girl.  My granddaughters like me to read from my diary to them.  Sophie said the other day "Nana, you really had a good life". How sweet.

Here's hoping everyone is having a wonderful day.

Hi Ann, I am catching up from yesterday. I was so interested in your strawberries. We planted some just last week I hope we have good luck. Yours look fab.

I love that you shared your diaries with your grands. They want to know what you did and how you think, so good for you. I grew up on a farm until I was nine. Me grands never get tired of me telling them about farm life.

Hugs, Jeanne

I got a diary as a gift once. I don't think I managed to get past January.

These are great memories for you to share with the little ones. They will be so thankful you shared this time in your life in time to come.

I remember having a diary just like the ones you showed today. Mine had the little lock with a key. Such sweet memories. Thanks for sharing. Happy VTT!

Happy VTT to you. I have kept diaries most of my life but none from when I was so young. How cool that you still have yours.

I forgot all about having a diary. Hmmmm, wonder what ever happened to them? I bet someone is keeping them until I get famous, then they will make a million off them! Ha! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my Vintage Icebox. Stop again, any time.
