Blue Monday

What say you on this fine Blue Monday morning.  Sally @http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/is waiting to hear from us all.

Today I  want to share a picture that I took one day last week.  This was taken from our back yard looking west.  We had a spring storm moving in.  In Kansas as you know you have to be careful of any spring storm, dosen't it look ominous?

This storm actually brought a lot of wind and a little hail, but nothing more serious than that.
For the next few months we will watch the skies and be prepared for anything serious.  We usually have hundreds of tornados in Kansas every spring.

We've been very fortunate here in Kansas City, only a few tornados in the last few years to do serious damage.

Hope everyone has a terrific Blue Monday.

So glad you missed bad weather. It's funny, as in strange, that we have as many tornados in February here in TN as we do during the spring. So far, we haven't had any bad storms this year. Praying that it stays that way for you and for us. Pat.

Hi Ann, the clouds really looked bad... I hope you don't get a tornado at anytime... Baba

Looks like the blue northers I remember from my childhood in South Texas. Glad it wasn't too bad this time. Hope the good luck holds!
Happy Blue Monday from Joysweb

One of the best years of my life was spent in Kansas! We were stationed at Fort Leavenworth for a one year school...16 years ago. I love the state! So much antiquing and auctions. But, you are right, one must watch those skies!! Your sky photo is great and brings back many memories. Thanks for sharing. :)

Those type clouds are not what you want to be seeing. You are right Kansas is a place where a lot of bad weather occurs. Trust you will be safe from them all Spring.

Hi Ann saw your name on Miz Mollye's swap and just came over for a visit. This should be fun if I can figure out the bottle surgery.
