FOURTEEN DAYS OF LOVE

Day 9 "Sweet for the sweet".  Join Liz @ Brambleberry Cottage for Fourteen Days of Love

This is my children's and grandchildren's favorite cookie.  Any time there  is a family dinner or holiday, they ask me to make these.  They are not fancy and are so easy to make.  They are a chewy pull apart-NO BAKE cookie.  I'm sorry I do not have a picture of these, but take my kids word for it-they are yummy.

CORN FLAKE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE

1 Cup corn syrup
1 Cup sugar
1 1/2 cups peanut buttter
6 Cups cornflakes

Mix corn syrup and sugar in a large saucepan.  Bring to boil, cook about 1 minute.  Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter  and corn flakes.  Drop by teaspoonfuls onto foil.  Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.

I did find a picture of Christmas a few years ago with my grandchildren sneaking a peek of the goodies before dinner.

Have a really SWEET DAY.

The Yankee really likes peanut butter, so I'll have to try these out.

Glad to see you back on the party circuit at the cottage.

My mom makes those all the time, they're good. They're good with peanuts in them too, I think she puts them in her batches. Or chunky peanut butter, I can't remember. Thanks! JEnn <><
