Sunday Stamps # 11 - Irish, Shamrock or Green

http://viridianpostcard.blogspot.com/

I really did look for a stamp with a shamrock or Irish but to no avail.  I did have a postcard with this GREEN stamp.  Mailed in 1934 with a stamp  from Yosemite National Park.

I have another stamp from Antigua.  Antigua is an island in the West Indies.  Antigua means "ancient" in Spanish and was named by Christopher Columbus.

Hummingbirds are such beautiful creatues, this one is so pretty with the purple and green.

Have a super Sunday!!!

Another nice green stamp. I am curious about the postcard since it was mailed from Minneapolis and I collect Minneapolis postcards.

Yosemite and Antigua - we are getting about this week. I liked the hummingbird stamp in particular.

The hummingbird stamp is really beautiful. I wish we had hummingbirds in Europe.

No hummingbirds in Europe/UK! Shocking, I did not know that. they are amazing birds. These are really lovely stamps - little gems.
