I find the gravestones of yesterday so fascinating.
These are some my family's graves that I have discovered in my Genealogy.
Pennsylvania Dutch decorating on the top of the stone. My ancestor was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.
I believe this marker is made of metal.
Every shape and size.
Gone but not forgotten. I love the dove.
A simple wooden cross adorns the monument.
My paternal great-grandmother with holding hands.
My great grandfather a member of the Grand Army of the Republic.
There is no end to what we can glean from those who have gone before us. I have such a rich heritage.
