Pink Saturday - New Pink Sewing Basket

Today I'm sharing a new (vintage) sewing basket I found recently.  It has a very pretty flowered top of green  leaves and pink  flowers.

It is a beautiful wicker and the  bottom of the inside also decorated.  I really like the edge on the inside for thread.  Since I do a lot of sewing, I'm really excited to use this.

Inside it was full of thread, emboidery thread, needles, a ruler, zippers, buttons, patterns and a vintage Floral Doilies book.  Also a plastic case full of bobbins ( 20) full of thread.

I plan on re-doing my craft room, I would really like a cottage-style room.  Wouldn't this look pretty in there?  I purchased this sewing basket with all of the contents for $5.00.

Wouldn't a big overstuffed pink chair be great in there too.

Oh a girl can dream can't she?

Happy Pink Saturday Ann Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share today. I SO love this basket, and I can see others do as well. What a deal for $5.00. Filled with goodies besides. I see that one pattern was $1.25. Boy are those days ever gone.

I love the shelf it has around the edge for the threads. That is a wonderful idea. Wicker is just the best. The top decoration is still in such wonderful condition. I am so totally amazed.

Have a gorgeous weekend sweetie. Happy Pink Saturday and have a Magical St. Patty's Day. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

I love the sewing basket. It's such a great feeling when one finds things in pink. I love all things to do with sewing but I can't sew to save my life...lol! Okay, a button but that's it!

You simply must make yourself that sewing room!

Happy Pink Saturday
