Finishing up more projects this week.
I made two 16" pillows from the latest flour sack that I purchased about a month ago. I put a flap with buttons, so they can be laundered or changed If I want to swap them out.
I made more flowers with the extra fabric.
I had a manicure done last week and used the nail polish and proceedure with "shillac" polish.
After all of the sewing, scrapbooking, cutting, gluing---they are still good. I think I'm a believer!!!

I would never have thought of using those flour sacks for pillow. You did a nice job as usual. The thing that caught my eye is your wedding ring. Much prettier than your nails.HA!
The flour sacks made really cute pillows, and what a good idea to make them so they can be washed! Wow! Your nails look so pretty and your RING is gorgeous!

Love the flour sack pillows!
Love the flour sacks!!! Especially the button detail that allows you to wash the pillows when needed or to switch them out when you're in the mood!
Take care and have a wonderful week!

Still running around your blog, reading - LOVE the pillows...very clever idea that might just kick me into gear with some flour sacks I've been collecting recently. And you're the second person I've read about the shellac manicure from - Pioneer Woman blogged about it a few weeks ago.
