Vintage Frame and print

On a trip to Europe years ago we collected a book from each city.  Pisa, Italy was one of our favorites and inside the book was a small map of the city.

I have had the map in a box for years and wanted to display it somehow.  I took the small map and had it enlarged.

One of my favorite vintage window frames was not being used so I thought it would make a great picture frame.

I really like the curve at the top of the window.  The color and distressed look of the frame matches other pieces of furniture in my home.

This is so beautiful, Ann, and such a wonderful idea! I love the curved window frame. I visited Pisa many many years ago and climbed to the top of the bell tower. It was such a thrill!

That is a great idea, it looks so nice. Great way to save a memory,I'll have to remember this. I saw something similar in a magazine recently, but I like yours better because you used a vintage frame. Thanks for visiting me, take care - Dawn @ We Call It Junkin

What a thoughtful collection. Great idea to enlarge the map...that way the original stays intact in the book. A perfect frame, too. Very creative, Ann.
