Pink and burlap

My newest annual on my deck is a "Pink Twister Verbena".  I cannot take credit for the burlap, I saw the idea on Pinterest.  I lined the metal plant stand with burlap (3 layers) and then added my soil.  Makes a pretty combination of textures.

Also the fragrance in my back yard is heavenly--my peonies have bloomed this week.

The burlap is a great idea. I have a planter like that on my porch, but the garden centers sell fillers (like dried grass) for them.

Delightful! I love that idea and I am going to have to try it myself! Isn't Pinterest wonderful? What did we do before it was around?

The burlap looks like a great idea! I wish we could grow peonies here. Sigh. They are my favorite flower.

Hi Ann...what a fun idea with the burlap and very eco friendly. Verbena comes in all colors, but like you the PINK is one of my favorites. I do love the RED, too.

I noticed 'The Shack' on your book shelf. I just finished reading it aloud to my Mother. We both enjoyed it so much.

Happy Pink Saturday,
Sue
