My sister Lori and I spent all day Saturday at a weekend flea market in Kansas City Mo. One of the stores is Good JuJu. There are around 20 or more stores located in the old manufacturing district of the city, called the West Bottoms. The old building are so beautiful---perfect to display vintage, architectual and collecibles items.
I purchased five world globes and have decorated the top of my living room cabinet.
There is a silver sphere in the middle to represent the shape--a little hard to see in the pic.
The favorite one I found was of the moon--never seen one like this before.
The flea market is open the first weekend of every month, It is well worth the trip to Kansas City. They have several food vendors that sell wonderful lunch, snacks. The one we tried and LOVED was a Louisana style Snow Ball. I had Alligator Chocolate Mud with mint--to die for!!!! Lori had a Dream Cycle-they both tasted like the best ice cream we had ever tasted.
