What a wonderful gift! So pretty and I wish I could smell their sweet fragrance. Enjoy the weekend.
Neighbors used to share more with each other tan today. It was nice yours let you enjoy some her lovely flowers.
What a lovely share! Haven't had any luck planting yet. The weather is so unpredictable still!
I love this post and I love peonies Ann. I have three bushes. The previous owners had them in the woods and they weren't doing too well, so I moved them out to get more sunshine. Right now they have about 50 buds in them about ready to burst into bloom. Yay! I just brought out my fake peonies for the foyer table. They were expensive but they are so real and life like and just gorgeous. I keep them out until Fall. Tell us more about your peony slips. How does one start them? I would love to know. HPS
I have always admired peonies. How fortunate for you to be surrounded with such beauty. I must research the peony and see if it grows here.-- Cheers from California!
Good luck with your peonies. I wish I could grow them here.
If your starts work, I will have to get some when I vist. Hope to see you soon. Lv ya, sis
We have two peony bushes at our home in Wisconsin; I've never tried to divide them! And don't you just LOVE the way they smell? It doesn't take many to make a room smell so sweet! Hopefully, ours will wait for us to get there in a few weeks before they start blooming!Nancy
I'm kind of jealous...I love peonies! Thanks so much for your kind comment on my post about my old watering can.
Peonies are among my favorite flowers, Ann! Your neighbor was so nice to share some of her plants with you.
