Outdoor Wed-Grandmas Metal Rocker

Susan @ http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ is revealing some beautiful outdoor pictures today and I'm adding a few myself-check them out.

My Grandma Jewell owned this red metal rocker and I always loved it.  When they had her household auction I grabbed it.  We're still building outside or this would be up on the new deck.
I spend a lot of time on this chair in the summer reading or just drinking ice tea, watching the birds in their houses or at the bird feeders.

Some of my plants that have bloomed this week:

Next week I should have poppies and maybe the summer phlox will bloom.
Enjoy all of that beautiful sunshine-----

Your iris's are beautiful. Love the vintage chair, how special that it was your Grandmother's and holds special meaning for you. I am looking forward to seeing more of your flowers.
Thank you so much for the encouraing words about my bipolare. I appreciate the kindness and I can understand your panic attacks.... I used to have some doozies years ago. My first one sent me to the hospital , thinking I was having a heart attack. I hope you are having a great week. Blessings and hugs.

Hi Ann, I remember those chairs and they were always so comfy. I'm glad you were able to have it in memory of your grandmother.

Your flowers beds are looking very pretty. Oh the glory of flowers in bloom. I adore flowers. Mine are blooming extra pretty this year too. I will post them next week.

Enjoy your garden and your sweet chair.
Hugs, Jeanne

Oh, I love those chairs! I grew up with them and I keep an eye out at yard sales for them!

Your chives look beautiful all in bloom! Ours are blooming as well. I need to go and cut them down some.

Have a wonderful day!
