HALLOWEEN IN THE LAND OF OZ

Yesterday while going through some scrapbooking projects, I came across one of the pages I had done for my daughters Life Book I am doing for her.

In 1988 some of the members of our family dressed up for halloween. I don't remember where we were going but it was a large undertaking.

Many events have taken place since this picture, the kids are all grown up and have children of their own making us grandmothers and greatgrandemothers. Two have achieved masters degrees in medicine and education. My Daddy has gone to Heaven.

All of us from left to right:
Mother (Glenda) sis Kathy (The Bad Witch) Andi - daughter (tin man) Daddy (The Wizard) Jessica, niece (cowardly lion), Lori-sis (scarecrow), Tony-nephew (Toto) and me (Dorothy).

What a special photo this is for me. Hope you have fun looking through some of your old pictures.

What a precious memory to find. I love it that you all dressed up as a family theme. Now how fun is that? I will have to give that thought some consideration this year as we start preparing for what we want to be. I'll keep you posted sweetie.

Dropping by to wish you a very Happy Weekend and to let you know how much I appreciate your prayers when Mr. Magpie was having surgery and recuperating. He's on the mend, and I am starting to see daylight around here. Hope to be blogging again in a week or so.
