I have several of these old wooden crates and it's a really good size to put all of the little elements you want.
I bought the little blue bridge and canopy last summer at a specialty shop and added the rest this year.
Found the pretty blue stones for the river.
We cut a milk jug in half and Olivia hot glued all the stones and moss for the adorable fairy house.
She also made a door out of popsicle sticks and painted it a neon green. I found a small plant that matches the colors and painted the outside of the wooden crate.
It was such a fun project for us to do together.
Thank you Sally for keeping us all together. BLUE MONDAY is the place to be.

Hi Ann,
I have a bunch of blue stones EXACTLY like yours. I used to have them in my fish bowl. Thanks for linking in today.
Happy Blue Monday!
Hi Anne, this is adorable and I love the carton idea. Several years ago I started collecting a few fairy garden items and your post has inspired me to get busy and do one! I love that fairy door, cute idea.
Hope you are enjoying your summer.
Oh this is precious Ann! I love your fairy garden! I keep saying I want to create one! I need to get busy!
We took Rebekah's name right out of the Old Testament. Once while searching for a personalized book marker at the Christian Book Store the young clerk said something like I never heard of that kind of spelling! Frustrated, I said, apparently, you never read the bible! LOL!
I like to be called Annie too. My girls have a friend and she and Hannah have their birthdays 4 days apart! Gabby has a little boy named Jeremiah! He talks really fast and he says "Hey Annie", "Hey Annie", "Hey Annie" at the start of each new sentence. I just love him to pieces!
I am not much of a zombie follower! HaHaHa! My grandson Colton had the "Dexter" cake last year. It was quite creepy!
I have found the birthday cake I want this year. Now to slip the photo over to my hubby! Hee Hee
Always my pleasure to stop by. You gals did a smahing job on your fairy garden. I truly love it!
Have a great week!
Hugs, Anne xo
Ann, I fondly remember making my own fairy gardens as a child. You and your granddaughter made a special one. I know the fairy who lives there will love it!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit. Yes, The Junk Gypsies are at Round Top. Fun!
Oh, I love it. I have been meaning to do that with my daughter but have yet
to find the right container at an estate or garage sale.
Yours is adorable and perfect!

I have never had one of these. Just plain old flower beds with weeds.
