Cabana

Cabana is my word for C this week. Another vacation shot of the beach in Progresso, Mexico.

A cabana is a small hut in tropical climates near natural bodies of water.

What a glorious time we had lounging under the cabana having our tropical drinks, soaking in the sun and walking in the sand. Perfect relaxation.

We tried some of the local mexican cuisine at a local restaurant, the guacamole was the best I've ever eaten.

It all ended way to soon!!

Looks wonderful! I have not been there yet - a cabana would nice right about now - and maybe a cerveza or two :)

I sure wish I was sitting in a cabana right now feeling the tropical breezes! By the way, if you go on an Alaska cruise out of Vancouver, Canada Place is where you usually board. If your ticket says "Ballantyne Pier" then that's not at Canada place, so be sure to go and visit it. Well worth the visit!

I wonder what was in the guacamole that made it the best you've eaten :) We had Mexican food (tostadas) last night at a favourite little restaurant nearby. Great people and delicious food flavours. The fun you had on your vacation fills your photos and makes me happy too :)

Mexico was a favorite of my late hubby and me. One reason was the fruit available freshly each day. And the others were walks along the shore and swimming twice daily. Ah, such a wonderful way to vacation.
