Christmas Vintage

I've been Christmas decorating this week and I wanted to use some red items I already own this year.
I purchased this red sifter at a garage sale this last summer and I love the shape its in.

Since it's in the kitchen, I added some of my grandchildren's ornaments from past years that are gingerbread cookies.

Never saw one in red. I like the way you are using it for the holidays.

If I had a sifter like yours, I'd use it to sift flour, LOL! My mom had one, it was not painted, but I sure wish I had it now...I sift using a darn strainer and have to shake it and shake it and shake it...if only I had a crank model:)

I love what you did with the sifter! I think I need to join in on the vintage linky party since I have gotten back into the vintage scene!
