This studio is in our neighborhood and on the way home from church today I snapped a few pictures. I knew it was martial arts but I had to do some research to learn about Ryukyu.Ryukyu was an independent kingdom which ruled the Ryukyu Islands from 15th to the 19th Century.
Ryukyu is now part of Okinawa.
According to their website, they teach Judo, Jui-jitsu, Karate, Kung Fu and Kabudo. They also teach total health and strength for the person who just wants to improve their quality of life.
The building really stands out in this vibrant blue along side brick and tan buildings.

normally, I don't like blue on houses, but this one is such a lovely shade, perfect background for the shadows!
A little bright for outside but I do remember seeing this house so it does bring attention
Ann, at first I thought you had moved to Japan!
Very interesting post.
A Happy Blue Monday to you!

Hi Ann,
You've had a rough time trying to link in today. At first, I couldn't help, although I tried.
But this time, I was successful, and I fixed that defective link! Hooray!
Thanks for sharing this interesting blue building.
Happy Blue Monday!
Very interesting and enjoyed the history of it.
Hi Ann, The blue house has quite a history and they sure offer many forms of the martial arts. Very interesting and the building does stand out. Good for business. Smile.
