Last week we visited a new library in our community about 5 minutes from our house. The community was becoming run down and they tore down an old grocery store and other buildings in need of repair and built a beautiful new complex.
This mural is painted in the entry and I thought I would share. I'm always on the hunt for blue and I thought it was a nice addition.
I could not find the artist signature or title anywhere, I would call it the love of reading around the world.
Have a great MONDAY.

I adore the library and found a new branch in St. Augustine that I love to visit.

When my grandchildren were younger, we used to take them to the library. Now, they're all in college! Thanks for sharing. I noticed that you tried to link in to the thumbprints, but left no photo. Perhaps you could try again. Let me know if there's a problem.
I look forward to reading your comment on my blog.
Happy Blue Monday, Ann.
It's beautiful. My Blue Monday are here and here.
What a special way to spend time with your grandgals. They will no doubt have wonderful lifetime memories and be avid readers as well. The mural is very special and so well done...perfect for a library and Blue Monday.
That's a very nice mural!

I can't wait to read your comment on my BLUE entry.
Hello Ann.. it's been a little while since i checked out your blog, but I'm happy i found time today. You and I share a love for the colour blue and for reading. It seems like your community is on a path that will foster the best kind of growth in its members. Love that mural and the thought of you and your grandchildren wandering through the library, choosing books and feeling the atmosphere.
Now that is lovely!
I too love to read and one of my favorite places is the library.
Oh Ann that mural is lovely. I love reading too! I am always looking for books for the little one so we can read to him. I find lots of great ones in my storage! The kids had many wonderful books growing up and some still that they will not part with!
