Vintage Thingie Thursday

http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/

Have you been hittin those garage sales?? We've been having quite a few around here.  AND and new hugh antique mall really close.

I bought these two items this week for use in outside gardening.

An old commercial dust pan.  I attached to the house and will plant annuals.

A couple of hay picks I plan on using as plant hangers.

I know they are sharp, I will hang them high enough so no one runs into them!!!

Thank you Suzanne for hosting this great meme for all of us dumpster divers, garage sale gals, rummage sale   fashionistas and downright thrifty girls

Ann, I'm dropping by to thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. Thanks for the prayers, too. I'm trying to take it easy and allow myself a chance to heal both physically and emotionally from the blow, and the prayers of the saints have certainly been comforting.

On a different note, I love the way you used that dust bin as a planter. What a clever idea! Thanks for sharing it with us, and I love the other tools as well. I enjoyed seeing how you are repurposing them.

XO,

Sheila

Ann, you are something else. You just take things that are nothing, and give them new life.

Hello, Happy Pink Saturday! I'm still making PS visits. Love your pink post this week, your peonies are beautiful. I'd love to enter your drawing! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment, that idea for using the canisters as a planter is a great one, I did not think of that.
I wish you peace! Shirl

Oh lucky you! No, there have not been many sales going on around my way yet, but I'm watching for them!! I think a lot of people wait for the big neighborhood and village garage sales. There's a LOT of traffic going on when those are held, and no need for sellers to advertise... I definitely do my best NOT to miss the big sales like those!.. Love the dust pan you found, and have a great weekend! ~tina

Great idea for a planter! And it could be painted too!

Hi Ann, thanks for stopping by my garden site. You are so creative, I love the idea of repurposing a dust pan for holding flowers or using hay picks as plant hangers.
