Vintage Thingie Thursday - Postcards

A new vintage shop opened in my neighborhood a few weeks ago and ofcourse I had to stop in.  I'll be going back Sat., it's their grand opening and everything will be on sale!!!

I found a bundle of vintage postcards for 3.00.  Some of them are really neat.  Here's a few to share.

The colors in this one remind me of St. Patrick's Day.

I love the message on this one.

The first two were mailed in 1910 and 1909.  The third one was NEVER mailed to anyone!! Wonder Why?
Have a good day, go visit a vintage store!!

What wonderful vintage postcards. I have no idea why you would send the last postcard. Guess the person who purchased must have changed their. mind. Maybe someone with BO!!!

Loved seeing these old cards. I am sure you will find someone that deserves this "stinky" card.

The first two are very cute. Now, the third one is ... unique I guess you would say. I can't figure out a reason why you would actually send this to anyone either. Unless they have a bad BO problem, but maybe a discreet discussion with them would be a better idea.

Funny what people have been amused by, over time. I love the old postcards - have my great-grandfather's collection. I'm an Oz lover myself - heading back to check out more of your blog. Happy Thursday - Tanya

I'm your newest follower! When I went to your blog after you visited me I was greeted with that wonderful picture from the Wizard of Oz... my favorite movie. (I just watched it back in in January with my grandchildren... who loved it.) Then I saw some of your vintage Oz things, then your b/w pictures and the story about your dad was wonderful. We have a lot in common... love of family and appreciation for bygone days. So nice to meet you!
