Vintage Thingie Thursday-Postcard of Betsy Ross Home

Suzanne @http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/is a our wonderful hostess for this weekly party. Go on over and check out all of the unique vintage items.

Since its the 4th of July this week, I have a postcard that my Mother-In-Law gave me several years ago. It was sent to her sister Ruth in July of 1926. I believe it was sent by a nephew.  He actually toured the home of Betsy Ross.  The card is difficult to read but I also am sending the address side.  The small lettering says "Betsy Ross House where the first American Flag was made, located off Arch near Third Street, Phildelphia, PA.Hope everyone has a fantastic holiday.

It is so neat that you have the card to share. A real treasure and with special family history. It was fun to see the Niagra Falls PO stamp. Have a great Fourth of July!
