What's that I hear tapping on my roof. TAP TAP TAP. Are those squirells up there???? They must be VERY BIG ONES. Why do they need this blue tarp to catch their walnut tree haul!!!!!
Oh wait it's not squirells, it's a crew to put on a new roof!!
We have been on a year-long waiting list to get it put on. Their has been numerous wind and rain storms in the past year here in the midwest, let alone all the tornado damage to our neighbors in Joplin, MO and Redmond Kansas.
It just took one day and their already done. Really good workers.

I'm glad that the skies are blue so that you can get your new roof. I've "been there" and understand the pounding that takes place. Thanks for sharing.
Happy Blue Monday, Ann.
When you have been waiting and saving for that new roof, reroofing day can be pretty exciting. I know we would be thrilled with a new roof...maybe next year! Congratulations and happy blue Monday.
I know that feels better now that winter is coming.
So far I do not a new roof. However, between the acorns and squirrels, I think it is hailing at times. The squirrel are so destructive.
Cute post sis! Glad it only took a day.
I really thought you had squirrels. LOL! If you read my post, you'll understand, Ann. hehehe
Glad it's a new roof and NOT squirrels.
XO,
Sheila
I know how long it can take for repair men to show up after there have been a lot of storms in an area. Glad your roof is now brand new for the winter! Happy Blue Monday!
Good luck with the new roof! Hope they do a good job and Happy Blue Monday ;)
I'm glad you getting your new roof and do not have a squirrel problem. :)
Busy busy busy!
Late visiting from Blue Monday, hope you can come and see my entry, thanks!
It's great that you're finally getting your roof replaced. I had our roof replaced months ago, and the timing could not have been better. The rainy season is just around the corner, and we're facing it without worries. The money that we spent on our roof is worth it.
I’m happy that my landlord realized that our roof will be soon needed to be replaced. When I first moved in, the roof is really rusty and looks older than my grandfather. What more annoying was I’ve always been a light sleeper and the pitter-pattering of even the lightest rain is enough to keep me up at night. Hugh Dinatale
Good to know that it only took a day to fix everything. Having your roof replaced is a good decision due to the fact that you experience such destructive storms that could literally tear your roof off your house. Having it replaced by a much sturdier one might be a lifesaver when the time comes. Just remember to regularly check it for maintenance.
