As I myself am reflecting on the events that occurred on 9-11-01, I ran across this picture of the reflecting pool in 2009. The pink roses are fitting for Pink Saturday.
Take some time out this weekend and pray for protection for our wonderful country and for the thousands of families who were affected by this tragedy.
There is controversy around the landmark 10th anniversary on Sunday. Many people are being left out and prayer has been elimated from the ceremony. Keep all those involved in your prayers.
I visited this blog for the 1st time last Pink Saturday and encourage you to stop by. The blog ishttp://seeingeachday.blogspot.com/. The photography is wonderful, I know you would enjoy your visit.

Just surfed in from Pink Saturday. I love the photo you chose here. It's very fitting for the beauty and strength that this country and its people have shown in the wake of heartbreak and tragedy. Thank you for reminding us of this.
lovely flowers and prayers
I want to say a sincere thank you for featuring 'Seeing Each Day' - it was very kind of you and I'm feeling honoured. I think this picture you chose for yesterday was very apt and beautiful.
Beautiful picture and remembrances of this tragic day.
thank you for stopping by and your sweet words; hope you have a wonderful pink weekend...always remember and never forget.
Gorgeous post!
Hope you can peek at my PINK post, have a blessed Sunday!
I think we will always remember where we were and those horrible pictures as it was happening. I hope that as a country we can continue to try and make it as safe as possible and pull together.
God Bless America!
