I'm joining Bevery today with a special post to me!!!
I'M TICKLED PINK
I have published my first book. I just had the first year of my blogging put into print. I joined SharedBooks and had this beautiful book published.
The book is 244 pages. It is a paperback book, but the pages are nice and study. The colors came out beautiful. I have copied the front and back covers, the first page and the contents for you to see.
After looking through my book, it has SO MUCH family history, tells what I love and my feelings as a mom, grandmother, wife sister and friend. What better way to preserve this blogging experience for our family.
I am much more thoughtful now about how and what I post for the next book!!!
I did NOT print any of the comments from friends, just the blogs.
This has given me so much confidence, I have been wanting to write childrens books and I have started that as of 2011!!!
Hip, Hip Hooray!!
Have a great pink saturday.

You're the first I've met to have a blog printed. I've thought of doing it, but didn't know how it would turn out! Congratulations on perserving your blog! You put a lot of work into it...it would be a shame to lose it for some reason.

Happy Pink Saturday, Char
Brilliant. Will you print copies for family members? This is a book for them to treasure.
Congratulations on 'getting published'! Your book looks like it will be on the "Best Sellers" List in no time! The concept is amazing ... what a brilliant idea!
Fun! I have thought about this, but never went thru with it! I'm glad you did. Hmmm.... Sandi :)
I have three of these now. To keep the cost down I do it every 6 months. I can't get over how great they are. I started with pink and continue with the pink color. My daughter convinced me to opt for the hard back cover which is a little more expensive but worth it. I told them they would appreciate this more than a hand written journal years down the road. Congrats.

Congrats and super neat. I am thinking of doing my blog also. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :) You will have to let us know who published it since you are very satisfied.
What a great keepsake! That's a really good idea. Maybe someday - when I've been blogging for longer than 7 months - I'll consider it!
My sisters and I share a photo blog and we have just been discussing doing this. Thanks for sharing those images and your info. We will definitely have to do it now I've seen this!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
What a great keepsake...you know if your posts get lost in cyber space you will still have a record.
happy Pink Saturday !
I received one of my blog as a giveaway and I love it. Good luck with writing your childrens book.
I am so very proud of you and your accomplishment. Know you must be tickled to death with your book. Now you are well on your way to writing your first children’s book. You go for it. How is Mr.Lion doing? Hope he is being a good little adopted lion and behaving himself. Hugs and love, Genie
Wow what a way to get lots of comments!!!! Great book sis. I love all the history in it. Debbie
Congrats of your blog book and good luck as a writer of children's books! I've just become a friend and follower.
Love your cover! I had my first Six months of CollectInTexas Gal published....it really is a treasure. I know you will enjoy your book, and it's wonderful that it has inspired you to write a childrens book. You've inspired me to get my 2010 Post made into another book.
Ann, the book turned out great. I have thought of it, but understand it is very costly. There have been post on this before, but I never really check them out. I think it is a wonderful way to preserve family history.
Happy Pink Saturday Ann Sweetie...
Oh your cover is so beautiful, and I love that it is pink as well. The pages look wonderful, glossy and well printed. I have been wanting to do this as well. Maybe this year for my birthday.

This is just wonderful and as the years pass will mean more and more and be more precious than ever. And yah for you on the second book coming up. I have done some small books for the children but not a big undertaking like you did. Perhaps it's time. HPS and hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Ann, I am so impressed with your book. I never would have thought of such a thing. My blog is a family history and my random thoughts. It looks awesome. I am so happy for you.
Thank you for your PS visit and well wishes for my sister;s BDay. My sister's party was wonderful and she loved every minute of the fun, food and most of all, her family and friends who attended. She ended up with lots of lovely gifts, lovingly given from a crowd of 34 people to help her celebrate being 70.
Happy belated Pink Saturday.
Hugs, Jeanen
