"Variety is the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavour".  This is a line from the poem "Task" written by William Cowper 1731-1800 who was an English poet and hymnodist.

Some variety from my front yard gives it the flavor that I need.

A variety of color, shape, size to add visual interest to my front door.

Hi Ann! Love your choice for the letter V! A nice variety. I enjoyed the quote, too. And on your sidebar..."pretend I'm a tree and save me", powerful.

I love your potted plants. I am guessing we are going to have to go to potted plants as those nasty wild rabbits are eating everything in sight. Only our hanging baskets are doing well. ALl our lilies they ate the blooms as well as my forget me nots I plant for little Shannon who passed away from that agressive cancer. We had sent her parents the quilt in memory of her and in return they sent each person (over 100 of us) who participated a packet of the seeds to plant in her memory and I never forget to do it. I sure enjoy seeing you here and stopped by to catch up! Have a great weekend my friend. Hugs! xo

Love all your pretty plants....we are having such high winds, my poor flowers are just whipped to death...I run out and water them every hour...well, not really, but I do have to water every day...this wind dries them out so fast.
