October in my neck of the woods

For letter O this week I am featuring whats happening around my house in October.  While driving around my neighborhood I saw some beautiful trees.

I love the reds and yellows and all the leaves lying on the ground.

Another thing going on is family, my Son and his family came for a visit. They live in Colorado and they are so OVERJOYED with the Royals success.  Our Son just wanted to go to a sports store and soak in all the excitement.  There are not too many fans where they live. Of course I bought shirts to go around!!!!

Son picking out his shirt.

Hubby doing his woodworking projects. Table almost done for our daughter.

Going out for BBQ!

Enjoying the grandkids together, they still all fit in the backseat.

I'm loving fall in this part of the country, beautiful weather and fun with family.

Right you are, that part of the world is truly lovely this time of the year. I like all your fall shots, but the first is best. Nice you had some quality time with your son.

You tell your son this Colorado native loves those Royals. My goodness, I remember back to the days of George Brett. Sigh! Now my daddy raised us to be Yankee fans and they are always going to be my first baseball love but I am always rooting for my neighbors in Kansas. I would rather see the Chiefs go to the Super Bowl if the Broncos couldn't! I have always loved Tony Gonzalez and wish he could have been part of a Super Bowl team. He was outstanding in his position.
I am going to root for the Royals tomorrow and I am praying they can pull a big win! The Giants have had their five minutes of fame plenty of times and I really want to see the Royals win!
Take care, Anne
