Our Saturday game just ended and we WON this one too. We are ahead in the series 2 games to 0. The series comes to Kansas City on Monday night for game 3. I have friends who have tickets--lucky them.
Here's some of the great images I have found.
Kansas City is also the city of fountains and here's one of them with blue water!!
The last time we were in the playoffs was 1985 when we won the World Series. This is so appropriate.
This is how I'm feeling today!!
Linking with BLUE MONDAY

Hi Ann,
I can't imagine rooting for any other color (ahem!) I mean team. Go Blue! Thanks for sharing.
Have a Beautiful Blue Monday!
How awesome! Maria’s Space
Well we are St Louis Cardinal Fans but I love that blue fountain, so cool!
I love Kansas City too, such a fun town. Happy Blue Monday!
hey Ann thank you for visiting Return to Loblolly, your visit and your comments is so thoughtful and appreciated.....Go Royals.
Though I haven't followed pro-baseball, we did follow our hockey team here in Vancouver, and know that feeling of the city buzzing with excitement for its team. Sadly, here, we lost in the final round and then the city rioted, something I found to be shameful. So hoping Kansas focuses on the fun and keeps the other emotions at bay! Baseball is the only team sport that I had a modicum of success with.. (I played 3rd base on our village team.) I'll be thinking of your Royals and hoping they win.. just for you :)
Not a big fan of baseball, but love football. Miracles still happen as they Cowboys won Sunday. We both love blue.
Hello Ann, We have lots of family in KC and they are loving the Royals success as well. I am very happy for the fans. I have watched baseball in the Royals stadium more than once. Loved it!!! Go Royals!
xo, Jeanne
Good luck to the KC Royals! Love the blue fountain, Ann!
