Pink Saturday

Miss Beverly @http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/is our gracious hostess for this party each week.  Please check all of the great pinky ladies.

This week as I was  going through scrapbooks and trying to print photos off my computer, I ran across an album my sisters and I did for my Grandmother Jewell's for her  90th birthday.  She has since passed away, she was 98 when she did die.   We designed the book like quilt squares and included pictures of everyone in her family.  Here's a few that have pink.  PINK was her favorite color too.

From left to right-me,-sis Kathy, Grandma Jewell, my Mom- sitting, sis Debbie (The Paint Splash) and  sis Lori Beth.
Wasn't my Grandma a beautiful 90 year old.  She was just as pretty on the inside as she was on the outside.

Have a fantastic PINK SATURDAY

Happy Pink Saturday Ann Sweetie...
I am so thrilled to be able to meet your Sweet Grandma. Yes she was beautiful for 90 years old. Just gorgeous.

I love the book that you and your sisters put together for her. I am sure she looked at the pages many times over to reminisce. Just lovely. I love the way you made the pages patchwork, as that is so original and creative.

The photo of the little girl next to the chair is my favorite. Is that your grandmother as a child? It is priceless.

Thank you for sharing sweet friend. I so enjoyed my visit this evening. What a blessing.

Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I love the album you put together.I am anxious to see some of my photos in scraping pages this fall. My daughter and I have had a busy summer and we need to get busy with our scraping! Thanks for inspiring me to get moving on projects that are long overdue! Sweet HPS to you. Come see me soon. Hugs Anne

Ann, you always come up with the best for your post. I love this pink tribute to your grandmother. I loved seeing part of your family as well. A book filled with memories, but the ones in our heart are keepers.

Hello Ann, I LOVE your pink post. Your grandma was very pretty and didn't look 90 at all. Your all look so wonderful and having 3 sisters is such a blessing. I have four and we love each other dearly. I can see your family is loving too. Lets hope you all have your grandma's genes. Smile. The cake is so pretty, I know she must have loved her special party. This a very sweet pink Saturday post Ann.

Hugs, Jeanne
