Utilize what you have and find a practical use for it--definition of utilize.
I'm an old soul and I keep history alive in everything I can.
I took an old side leg to a vintage sewing machine and made a side border for one of my gardens.
Need a light for the deck table at night. Take a 1.00 clay pot, turn upside down and put a 1.00 garden light in the hole. Works fantastic.
Keeping up with everyone is a big task and and as soon as you buy what they have, they have taken out a new credit card and are buying more.

These are great ideas, especially the porch light. You are very creative!
Very clever ideas. My favorite is your vintage sewing machine piece. I'm into repurposing stuff, too. Right now, my obsession is turning furniture and kitchen stuff into garden art.
and right you are.... my husband and I do the same things… I love to explore the possibillities
