Mom always made sure we had new frocks for Easter, sometimes she made them all. Usually polka dot swiss --it was always lacy or filly.
Our Daddy is now in heaven as well as Katy. Mom is 90 but ALL of us are still going to be at church for Easter!!!
I've kept this card for 50 years, think it's so pretty.

HI Ann, your post brings back the same sweet memories for me. Special "Easter frocks" for Church! Love the photo. Both my mom and dad are not with us, it's memories like these that brings a smile. Thanks and have a blessed Easter........
Hi Ann! Happy Easter to you and yours! This photo is absolutely precious. What a blessed soul you are to have this and that lovely card. Wow! They do not make such lovely cards like this anymore. I did find one my sister gave us for an anniversary one year. she also hung on to it and it was unsigned so she thought she would give it to my hubby and I. Always loving these posts because I love seeing phamily of those I cherish here in blog world. I hope your weekend is blessed and beautiful, just like you! HUGS Anne
Such precious memories. Many blessing to you and family on this special day.
My memories are very similar and the photo is very like a few of our Easter photos. That card is pretty. I remember my mom having secret pals.
Hello, Ann, and Happy Easter. What a lovely family photo. My mother, also, made sure that we had pretty frocks and bonnets every Easter. Those were special times. My blog has been resting for quite some time, and only recently I've been slowly resurrecting it (ha! speaking of resurrections). I looked up an old post, and saw your sweet comment on it, and decided to come by, say "hello", and see what you've been up to. Glad to see you are still blogging. Have a joyful day...
Blessings,
Marianne
What a wonderful keepsake photo! I have one of those too and my mother always made us three girls matching outfits. Those were the days when we dressed up for Easter. I hope you had a blessed Easter Sunday!
