Our KANSAS JAYWAKS are in the FINAL FOUR and the University is located in Lawrence, Kansas.
Kansas City sits on the border of Kansas and Missouri and we have so many wonderful places to visit and experience from Kansas and Missouri.
I visited the Amerian Jazz Museum a few years ago and it is a place well worth the trip, this is on the Missouri side.
Several years ago the KANSAS SPEEDWAY was built on the Kansas side and a new cassino was just opened last month "Hollywood Casino", next to the Speedway.
We now have a professional soccer team "Kansas City Sporting Club" playing in our new state of the art stadium "Livestrong" also on the Kansas side.
And I cannot forget our fabulous KANSAS CITY BARBEQUE. There are so many fabulous resturants--too many to name. Kansas and Missouri share the love of barbeque.
