Winter White

We have had the first snow of the season here in Kansas City.  Our area received 3 inches and they are predicting a WHITE CHRISTMAS. That doesn't happen too often.

We have white inside and out.  Our tree is a winter wonderland with white woodland creatures!!

I'm working a little behind in the past month, my Mom has undergone a tremendous surgery for her age of 88 and is currently in rehab. I go to see her  every day so my blogging has become at the bottom of my list.

My niece and her family are coming for Christmas next week from Texas and they are so excited to see snow, will be such fun to see them playing in the fluffy WHITE stuff. Hoping we get more to go sledding.

You have your priorities straight and that's a good thing, Ann. I hope you do get just enough snow for sledding but not so much that driving becomes tricky. I love, love, love your elegant tree! I'll be thinking of your mother. Tough at any time to have surgery, but as I learned with Bill, especially difficult for seniors to recover from these situations. Visiting every day is important. Hospital workers do the best they can, but there is no substitute for loving family. All the best to each one of you, Ann!

Lots of prayer for your sweet mom. I hope she will heal quickly. The ugly sweater craze is so silly I think! The stores are loaded with festive wear for the holiday season. I understand your sister feeling insulted. Goodness, I have an entire wardrobe of holiday earrings too! LOL! I love the seasons and I love the holidays especially Christmas and Easter. Be safe with the snow and have a beautiful week. They are predicting some snow for us for Christmas day too. Hugs, Anne

We are having some unseasonably warm weather here in Massachusetts and will not be having a white christmas.

Hoping that your Mum is on the mend for Christmas, and wishing you all a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy your carols - a white Christmas that's what we all dream of!
Will be thinking of you with your snow when we are at the beach!
