ABC WEDNESDAY - Letter Y
For letter "Y", I really wanted to do something patriotic and I thought of this great movie from 1942.
"Yankee Doodle Dandee" and "You're a Grand Old Flag = BOTH Y WORDS.
From Wickepedia:
Yankee Doodle Dandy is a 1942 American biographical musical film about George M. Cohan, known as "The Man Who Owns Broadway".[1] It stars James Cagney, Joan Leslie, Walter Huston, and Richard Whorf, and features Irene Manning, George Tobias, Rosemary DeCamp and Jeanne Cagney.

Have a wonderful day!
Hi Ann, I adored this movie and watch it when ever it is shown. The old movies are so heartwarming and fun. Today that is a rare occasion in the movie industry.
Happy 4th of July.
Hugs,
Jeanne

Love your patriotic post! Happy 4th!...Christine
I always associated Cagney with gangster films, they were such all rounders in those days.
Great choices for the 4th of July.
What a fun song to use for our Y week. Really great!

It's been so quiet round here I almost forgot it was the 4th. Both sons are away, so I spent the day drawing and Moth pottered in the garden. It really was a nice Fourth - quite different from most people's I expect. We enjoyed the Concert at the Capitol. That was great!
This was a very cool post! :)
