Pink Saturday - Valentines Day Special

What a special day to celebrate - Valentines Day- the day we can express our pink and red decor and traditions.

I have created a spring tree this year and have been decorating it with my handmade wooden birds that I make and thought it would be pretty with some Hallmark Red beaded hearts I found at a thrift store a few weeks ago. The little boxes of 6 were only .75, why oh why didn't I buy more-they had more.  They are really made for gift wrapping-maybe to celebrate heart health month.

Last year I bought a deck of cards.  Heart (the cards you play with your Heart). They have real questions. I thought this would be a really fun game to play on Valentines Day.

I have been surfing Pinterest and there are so many gorgeous Valentines crafts this year--everything you can think of and what talent.

Last Saturday I visited a blog I hadn't been to before Dix @http://gypsyczech.blogspot.com  Dix is a mixed media collage creator and last Pink Saturday posted some gorgeous pink mercury glass. If you visit her blog you will want to return.

Hope you have had time to create something beautiful this year for Valentines day. Linking with  Beverly

What a cute project. I could feel your anguish when you realized you should have bought more. Is there anything worse than the ones that got away!!

Hearts and flowers to you

Happy Pink Saturday Ann Sweetie...
Oh what a gorgeous share today. I love your beautiful twig tree. It looks so pretty with your beautiful birds and those little hearts are just perfect for the occasion. How pretty they look. (Don't you just hate it when you had a chance to buy more of something, at such a steal, and at the time we can't invision what we are going to do with them.) Darn, but they do look pretty. Have you added a nest to that tree for those lovely birds yet?

I love your creation sweet friend. Thank you for sharing with me. Hope you have a gorgeous weekend. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I love your tree! I need to stumble upon some cute beaded red hearts while out and about! Thank you for stopping by and visiting today. No, the doors with the pink PS on them are not mine, unfortunately, but they sure spoke to me when I saw them!
Happy Valentine's Day and Pink Saturday!

FIrst, thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. Yes, since I'm from the KC area, too, I do know that Boulevard Brewery is a local business. I heard they doubled their Choc.Ale production this year...but evidently they need to really ramp up the amount they make for next year! :)

Second, it's great to find another KC blogger!!

Third....yes, you should have picked up more of those hearts...what a great find! I love your twig tree..perfect for this time of year!

Fourth...Happy Pink Saturday and Happy Valentine's Day!
