Pretty In Pink

http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog

My Mom is living with us for a few months because of shoulder and jaw fractures, here she is in a pretty pink shirt. My great-nephew came over to spread some "cheer". He is such a delight.

These beautiful flowers were sent from a friend of hers, I'm sorry I don't know the name but they are certainly beautiful.

I really hope everyone has a very thankful Thanksgiving this year!!!!

Ann, blessings to all of you for the holiday season. Your mother looks pretty in pink. I think as we get older, we need brighter colors. I know I do.

Hey! I was doing my travels by 3 from the bottom of the list (based on the last digit of my own link #123). Anyway, saw you on one of the comments elsewhere and wanted to stop by - don't know if you're in the 3-list or not! Sometimes, I break rank and shake it up a bit more, besides going from the bottom of the list for a while. I hope your mom is recovering easily. Sounds like some tough injuries to sustain. (Ouch!) Great photo of her and your great nephew - lovely flowers - they look like they're from a succulent variety. ? Take care of you. Hugs, Jenn

Those are unusual flowers, almost look like a Japanese magnolia blossom. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and thanks for stopping by my blog today!

The flowers look like cyclamen.
Your mom is definitely pretty in pink, and best wishes as she heals.

Hello Ann,
Thanks for visiting me over at Christmas Pudding. I generally don't get a lot of traffic there so I do appreciate you stopping by.
Pretty flowers! I hope your mother heals up quickly. I broke a rib a couple of years ago and it's nasty! Happy Pinks and a Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Blessings,
Sandi
