Pink Saturday

http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
For Pink Saturday I am showing my newest addition  in vintage magazines.  This is a magazine from the year and month of my birth.

Love the slipcovers and the wallpaper in this painting.

The Post had about 5 stories in this edition.

One of the advertisements.
I love that men in the 1940's wore pink too.

A couple of cute cartoons (in pink no less).

Hope you have a very pinky weekend.

Sorry to say, I remember those days. I was in high school when you were born. I loved your cartoons, especially the one of the fellow trying to shop.

I was eight when this magazine was published and I only remember these magazines from when I was older. I have one for my birth month and year too. It is great fun to read them. Love your post about those times in our history.
Hugs, Jeanne

Hi Ann,
I'm still making my way round "meeting" fellow Sister Bloggerettes! So, "hello" from a fellow Kansan! I think your tag turned out beautiful! I just started getting involved in paper crafts (ATCs) and I'm really enjoying it all!
Take care,
Angela
PS..I love your header. My daughter is a HUGE Wizard of Oz fan!

Ooh, those magazines look great and the tag is gorgeous. I am enjoying making tags for the first time and they are so much fun.

Thanks for stopping by my little corner earlier. Blessings!
