The forks were 2 and 3 dollars each. They do require some heavy pliers and I still need more practice but I think the first one came out OK.
The baby is a great aunt of my husbands.
You turn the two inside tines to the back and the two outside remain to the front.

That fork photo holder is the cleverest thing, and that baby in the photo is darling.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super idea. Some people just got all the smarts. I cannot think of anything clever like that. Love seeing the older family pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Love that sweet picture! Have a blessed day, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteYours came out great! It is such a fun way to display pictures and old recipes. I've made a few of those and found that silver is the easiest type of fork to bend. I about broke my hand trying to bend a piece of stainless steel flatware! : )
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling me about this, Ann. I can't wait to try it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm always needing picture holders and I have an entire box of silverware! Stop by my Friday's Five Features and link up this post (and others)! http://diy-vintage-chic.blogspot.com/2013/08/fridays-five-features-no-3.html
ReplyDeleteLove it and I have some that I could do this with!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet baby! That's a neat idea with the fork!
ReplyDeleteI love these especially when they have a pretty pattern. It does take some practice to get them balanced correctly, but so worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming to visit my dresser. Love the fork easel idea. I read through your blog and really enjoyed it.
