October in Kansas City

While in the car yesterday (hubby driving) I took several shots of the city.  October is suppose to be quite a bit cooler but I still feel the cool breezes.

The golf courses are still plenty green.

Sunflowers blowin in the wind.

But we do have some trees turning.

Autumn is my favorite season but all the weather experts are saying we are suppose to have lots of snow this year.

  1. Kansas weather must be much like my state of Indiana. I like the field of sunflowers.

  2. If their predictions are correct, keep the snow there. Fall is trying to show up, but slow in Texas.

  3. I do love the changing seasons, especially Fall. I wish we had more trees changing colors. Nice photos.

  7. I especially like your photo of the sunflowers. I'm imagining the wind going through them.

  8. sorry to be this late in commenting, but what a week I've had! Anyway, I've heard the same thing about a bad winter and I'm on the southwest coast of British Columbia where we usually had very temperate weather. I'm hoping no snow because I won't drive in it...so will be watching the weather report very diligently. Love your photos with the bit of colour. We're mostly green here so don't get the spectacular showings other areas do.
