Hamilton, Missouri

Another year of blogging has begun, I just printed my 4th book from Blog2Print.  I love the idea of have personal journals to keep for myself and my grandchildren.

Today for Blue Monday I am sharing a photo of  J.C. Penney's birthplace, Hamilton, Missouri.
I spent a day of quilt fabric shopping with my SIL here last summer.



The " Missouri Star Quilting Company" is an amazing store. I'm not a quilter but they have every fabric imaginable. They have a wonderful on-line store too for all you quilters.



There are numerous original buildings still there from when Mr. Penney lived there.  To see detail enlarge the photo.

    It's nice to know a bit more about this great man of God. I'm sure he'd be unhappy with his store open on Sunday--just like every other one.

    Hi Ann, now I know where J. C. Penny was from. I'm not a quilter, but when I end up at a quilt shop I want to be a quilter too!
