O is for October colors

A wonderful weekend at the lake with lots of gorgeous turning of leaves of October.




My cousin and his wife and my hubby and I took a final trip of the season on his pontoon boat at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.

A few  beautiful homes along the lake.



 
 
 
 
We stayed at a resort/campground for the weekend and was able to use the boat slip.
 
 
The mornings we had to use a coat on the water but the afternoons the sun shone and all we had to use was a sweatshirt.
 
Just a few more weeks of October color and then we will loose all of the leaves. We were glad we could spend the wonderful weekend outdoors.

    One of my favorite places to go. When my husband was alive, we went real often. Fall is very pretty most places but around where I live.

    Fall is my favorite season. But when I see the trees laced with snow, that's my favorite...then come Spring and flowers..oh dear I guess I love them all.
