I always have silk flowers on hand and a large brown roll of paper for crafting. I used some of my brown string for the bow.
We had such a fun day, started with lunch at a local restaurant and then saw "Life Could Be a Dream" at the American Heartland Theatre here in Kansas City.
Lots of music from the 1950's and 60's. Remember the songs "Duke of Earl", "Rama Lama Ding Dong", just a couple of the ones we were enjoying.

Oh, those songs are very familiar to me, too! I still love to listen to an oldies station that plays some of the good songs from the '50s and '60s. What pretty flowers and a nice day! Hugs!

I would have loved a bouquet of spring flowers as a gift! You were smart to create your own bundles, Ann. Thanks for visiting from Alma's party. :-) Sue

Hi there! I saw all the wheat in your blog header, and I immediately thought of Kansas! I live just across the border in Lee's Summit, MO, born & raised in Kansas City, MO! Nice to see another Midwestern blogger!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed the performance at the American Heartland. It's such a great little theater, and they bring in such fun stuff. Such a nice hostess gift you created, too. It's great that you were able to do it yourself and personalize it as such.
So nice to "meet" you! Have a great week! (visiting from Seasonal Sundays)
