Vintage Spools

I'm ready to start some new year decorating and I found six  vintage thread spools with thread at the Goodwill last week. They were $1.00 a piece and I have them displayed with a couple of large wooden spools.

There is just something about these old spools that I really love.

  3. Great finds, Ann. They look great in the basket. Throw in some yarn balls and knitting needles and you'll have a WARM and cozy looking display. I'm inspired to make a trip to Goodwill....haven't been since before Christmas. That's probably a good thing for me...LOL!!!

  4. I remember a spool of white string just like that when I was a kid. I think it lasted my entire childhood. :)
