After a little difficulty adding my wedding photos to my laptop, I have added a Smilebox collage to show my Wedding Pictures.
We were married July 30, 1966 while my husband was between basic training and technical school. We had planned a summer wedding but the Air Force did not cooperate. My fiance's commanding officer let him have a weekend off to get married so my Mom and I called all the guests, no time to send out invitations.
I had already purchased my dress in the spring. My fiance came home on Friday night, we were married Saturday and he left Sunday. I didn't see him for 3 weeks right before he found out where he would be stationed.
My sisters Debbie and Kathy were my bridesmaids, my SIL Virginia my Matron of Honor and my 5 yr old sister Lori my flowergirl. My husbands brother was the Best Man, cousin and friend were ushers and my 2nd cousin my ring bearer.
All the pictues were done in black & white--normally done for that time.
We will be celebrating our 46th Wedding Anniversary this July.
I know I'm late to the party, but hopefully you will come by to see my picture.

ReplyDeleteDear Ann, sooo very happy that you were able to link up and join our Wedding Blog Party! You have created a fantastic collage! Such a pretty background and love the quote. The pictures of you and your family are wonderful. What a beautiful bride you were. Love your dress and tiara/veil. Hope you still have them! Your cake is so pretty, too. I'd steal that sweet wedding bells cake topper if I could get my hands on it! LOL
