My sister discovered a new antique/junk/art store last week and ofcourse I had to check it out. She is only open on Sat. and Sun. Well, she has quite a few items--lots of really neat items. She is also an artist and does "Day of the Dead" (I had to look it up too) shadow boxes. She said it is on the line of the Mexican Catholic Holiday. Not my taste in art--but she does a beautiful job with jewels and skeletons.
Anyway I found this wonderful old chippy cabinet, it has been painted green and the paint is wearing off. It has a wonderful red paper lined on the shelves. I put in my bathroom and love it. I don't think I will do anything to it.
I want to decorate the top of the cabinet but I'm not sure how yet. ANY IDEAS?

ReplyDeleteWow Ann, I love this cabinet. The paint is just perfect. I would not do a thing either. The insides is as cute as the out. I think a cute vignette using vintage bathroom items would be cute. Some old tins, bottles, hand mirrors, trays, or whatever you can run across. Love it!
