L is the letter for ABC Wednesday this week. My
LILACS are in full bloom. The lucious scent lingers in the yard as we work in our gardens.
Their are clusters of purple and white ones.

This just may be the year that I dig some up at my mom's and bring them to my house!! They must be close to 75 or more years old. Yours are so pretty I can almost smell them!♥♫

Beautiful sis! Mine hasn't bloomed this year. A neighbor said that it is a type that only blooms every 3 years.... Love ya!

ReplyDeleteI love lilacs! They are one of my favorite flowers and I will bury my nose in the blossoms even at the risk of allergies. :)
ReplyDeleteRochester, NY had the lilac festival in mid May, although I fear perhaps the lilacs will be early this year.
I have always heard you should plant a lilac bush under your bedroom window! I have one here at this house and our last house too! I love the scent. It is so beautiful and sweet. Gorgeous photos. Hugs Anne
