ABC WEDNESDAY I is for Inflatables and Irish

This is my first time participating with Aris @http://abcwednesday-mrsnesbitt.blogspot.com/ for ABC Wednesday.

Since this is the week of St. Patricks Day, I am featuring for the letter "I"--Irish and Inflatables.

These pics were taken last year in the Kansas City St. Patricks Day Parade.

A shamrock inflatable.

Wee Irishmen

My little "Irish" grands. (We are a wee bit Irish too, my great-grandfather was Patrick Fletcher.

Having a great week here in Kansas--70's and 80's all week.

  2. SCORE! Two for one in the first shot. All your I-pics are great, and your "wee Irish grands" are adorable. Me? not a lick of Irish on either side of the family tree. Thanks for stopping by my place and leaving a comment. Hope to see you again next week.

  5. First off, a HUGE WELCOME to ABC Wednesday! You're going to love it here...This is a wonderful, ideal post for our I week! No Irish in my family; I think the Welsh, Scots & Brits might have something to say about them! lol

  7. How fun to take part in the Irish Parade....even a WeeBit counts...so I hear. I'm not even a wee wee bit, but I love the color green. Your grandgals are soooo cute.

Sorry, I haven't been by in awhile. It's been busy at CITexas Gal with writing stories about my Texas Folks and getting ready for the debut of the 1940 US Census. Come on over and see what's up with that...you might want to join in the 1940 US Census Community Project. Especially if you are into your Family Genealogy. Hope to see ya soon....Sue

I lije your I. We don't have parades with huge inflatable things, but it would be fun having an inflatable leaf blowing over our house ;)

  18. Oops...I sent my comment before I finished. My hubby is Irish. His dad's family came from Ulster Providence. My middle and her honey attended the parade in Denver. The photos they took were fun. Lots of crazy people out and about!
